What is Greater Oblivion?

Greater Oblivion is a way for creatives to connect, collaborate, and share their work and ideas - released as print and digital zines. We want to encourage people to experiment, learn, and build a community.

Who can submit?

Anyone! We want to give people a platform to share their work, regardless of background or interests.

How do I submit?

We use Google Forms to accept submissions, and we share the link on our Instagram page while submissions are open.

What kind of art/format can I submit?

We’re open to all mediums. Anything that we can print on a page, really. Paintings, photographs, short stories, and poetry are popular submissions, but if you have a QR code to a video or song, that would work too.

Is there a fee?

No! Submissions will always be free and open to anyone willing to share their work with the world.

How often do issues release?

We actually don’t have a set release schedule, but we’ve released around three issues per year so far. (We’re only two years old at this point). It really depends on how much time we have outside of regular work schedules.

How can I get a copy?

Three ways mainly: 1) we sell physical copies at events and pop ups around San Antonio (check our Instagram for upcoming events), 2) each issue we drop a limited amount of free copies at some of our favorite local businesses, and 3) free digital copies are available on our website (greateroblivion.com)
